The Healthy NC 2030 taskforce, led by NCIOM and NCDHHS, brought together experts and leaders from multiple fields to develop a common set of public health indicators and targets for the state over the next decade. The full report, released in January of 2020, established a north star for localities and organizations to mobilize to accomplish North Carolina’s most pressing goals across housing, education, public health, and economic opportunity.

Build a Community Data Platform and Healthy NC 2030 Dashboard
through partnership with local organizations. Analyze community metrics to identify and socialize insights that inform data-driven, local goals.

Collaborate with Partners and Community Members
to create attainable targets that will collectively achieve the state-wide Healthy NC 2030* objectives.
– Beginning January 2021 and slated for completion/release Summer 2021
Introduce Measurement and Accountability
through additional community dashboards and reports. Regional and county-level goals and plans will be adjusted as results are tracked.
